New Patek Philippe Aquanaut Chronograph luxury sports watch, 42,2mm, Stainless Steel, Ref. 5968A-001. The first chronograph with a flyback function in the modern Aquanaut sports collection, which perfectly matches the character of this young and dynamic watch line. His Stainless Steel rounded, pillow-like octagon-shaped case and gently curved ears are unmistakable.  A beautiful embossed black dial with a geosphere pattern is complemented by shades of orange (second hand, auxiliary counter hand and second track), which makes the watch more expressive, youthful, and fresh. Perfectly readable large applied polished Arabic numerals made of 18k White Gold with luminescent coating in the form of hour markers look harmoniously. The manufacturer paid special attention to the second track on the outer rim of the dial. She is applied in long silver and small orange lines with fairly wide luminous marks located every 5 minutes. The time is indicated by large polished luminous hour and minute hands in 18k White Gold. These are complemented by a slim and elegant luminous orange chronograph second hand (Sweep seconds hand). She is used also as a continuously running second. At the 6 o’clock position, there is a recessed black auxiliary chronograph counter with reverse movement. It has glowing white Arabic numerals, white markers with orange accents, and an orange indicator needle. The date window is traditionally at the 3 o’clock position. The chronograph is controlled by rectangular Stainless Steel buttons located on the right side of the case. At the 8 o’clock, position on the case is an instant date corrector. A polished Stainless Steel screw-down crown with a ribbed edge for a comfortable grip and the Patek Philippe logo is the finishing touch to the perfect picture. The dial is covered with a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. The screw-down case back is also made of sapphire crystal, which allows you to see the magical work of the movement. Against this backdrop, a flat, fixed bezel in Stainless Steel, vertically ground on the front and polished on the sides, provides a wide view of the dial. The finish on the side of the bezel is amazing because at first glance, it looks rounded, but upon closer inspection, you can see the crisp edges playing with the light. The model is equipped with a Patek Philippe caliber CH 28‑520 C with a self-winding mechanical movement containing 32 jewels and a power reserve of min. 45 hours – max. 55 hours. This beautiful sport chic watch is presented on a Black tropical rubber strap (originally fitted) and orange (additional strap), a new composite material that is ultra-resistant to wear, salt water and UV radiation. They are fastens with Patek Philippe’s patented Stainless Steel folding clasp, polished and engraved with the Calatrava cross. Opening the clasp reveals the engraved Patek Philippe logo with the word GENEVE. Water resistant up to 120m/394ft (12 ATM).
