This special edition IWC watch is dedicated to Saint-Exupéry’s famous  “The Little Prince “and Features some distinct characteristics when compared to other special editions in honour of the French Aristocrat. The polished stainless steel 46mm case has been fortified with another protective layer on the inside – a soft iron inner case, which helps to protect the internal components of the watch from extreme magnetic fields. The in-house developed calibre 52110 movement offers an extraordinary 7-day power reserve which can be referenced at the 3 o’clock location on a rich blue dial. White lacquered Arabic numbers and dauphine-styled central hands provide a legible display for the gentleman – the triangular index of which sits inside the chapter ring to mimic the 1940’s style IWC watches. A date aperture seen at 6 o’clock adds balance to the dial, along with the proud IWC lettering underneath the 12 o’clock location. The timepiece, which is in honour of the poet, writer, aviator pioneer and author, Features a unique engraving on the back of the case, depicting the little prince himself, and is fitted with a vintage-inspired brown calfskin strap to deliver a classic look to the wrist.
